It seems that lawmakers overlooked a few of them and as a result they are still on force. Read some of them to make sure you do not find yourself offending others.
Who lived at 221b Baker Street? Well, the name of the museum gives it away for those who aren’t sure. On one of London’s busiest streets, this little corner is a step back into the literary Victorian world of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. The curators maintain the insides of this building exactly as described in the famous books, right down to the first floor study.
On one level, we are happy to admit that this quirky museums steps over the line that surrounds a normal healthy interest – they have Dr Watson’s handwritten diaries! However, such is the sense of fun and love in this place that we’re happy to overlook this and if you do too, you’ll be amazed at the level of detail on offer. We certainly recommend a visit to the well-stocked shop!
