Newsflash

The average student budget in London is a mere £9,000 excluding tuitions. London, as we’re sure you’ll know, has a reputation for being an expensive place to live. If you know that money is likely to be a problem during your time at university, there are of course a number of avenues you can look into for help.

Even if you’re an English or Art student you will find the Science Museum has much more to offer than nerdy physicists and boring experiments. The displays inside are full to the brim with creative energy and as you walk around, passing from space to the Spitfire to simulators, there’s a real sense of immersion with what’s going on.

Keep an eye out too for the various special exhibitions that the Science Museum puts on. Never a place to sit idly, the museum is always bringing new things to the public’s attention, or trying to engage with the arts in new and exciting ways.

As you may have noticed, we have a soft spot for the Science Museum. It’s imposing stone building has been it’s home since 1857 and this old Victorian lady is definitely worth popping into when you have a spare afternoon.
