Anyway, unless you’re dating a snooty food critic, hopefully you’ll have other things to talk about. Essentially, the joy of this restaurant lies entirely with the fact that it’s entirely in the pitch dark, a concept that is surprisingly smoothly executed, considering. It can get quite loud, but this just means you have to lean in close to each other to ensure good conversation… and given you can’t see yourselves almost touching noses, this is surprisingly intimate and fun. The dark also allows you to assess your date without any telling facial expressions, and you may suddenly be able to determine whether he/she has a winning personality to go with the great looks.A unique (and helpful!) experience, Dans Le Noir is the perfect place for some giddy romance.
