Imperial China on Lisle Street in the heart of London’s China Town is an excellent venue which we love for its consistency in food, large menu and real authentic atmosphere. The stylish black exterior leads into an ornamental bridge over a small stream – a little clichéd, but we appreciate the effort. From the wide range of dishes on offer, our tastes lie mainly with the excellent dim sum menu. Portions are sensibly sized, well priced and – above all – excellently prepared. The busy crowd attracts a broad mix of both Chinese and non-Chinese diners – a crossover that invariably speaks of high quality food and friendly service. Imperial China has both of these in spades.
